Summer seminar on a regional approach to water reuse in the Bay Area

Join the Bay Area One Water Network on Wednesday, August 12 at noon for a seminar exploring a regional approach to advancing water reuse in the Bay Area.

The seminar will share out the ideas discussed at the December 2019 Bay Area One Water Network workshop on this topic. Check out the report summarizing the workshop, here. At the seminar we’ll hear from David Sedlak (UC Berkeley) about the key take-aways and next steps from the workshop, followed by a panel discussion with Paula Kehoe (San Francisco Public Utilities Commission), Jackie Zipkin (East Bay Dischargers Authority), Dave Smith (US EPA Region 9), and Hossein Ashktorab (Valley Water) about the opportunities and challenges of a regional approach to water reuse. The seminar will be followed by informal “coffee chats” in breakout rooms with the panelists, from 1:00 - 1:30 pm.
