Summer seminar on stormwater capture in the Bay Area
Join the Bay Area One Water Network on Monday, July 6 at noon for a seminar exploring the potential for stormwater capture to augment Bay Area water supplies.
The seminar will share out the ideas discussed at the July 2019 Bay Area One Water Network workshop on this topic. Check out the report summarizing the workshop, here. At the seminar we’ll hear from Dick Luthy (Stanford) about the key take-aways and next steps from the workshop, followed by a panel discussion with Pam Boyle Rodriguez (City of Palo Alto), Josh Bradt (San Francisco Estuary Partnership), Matt Fabry (City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County), and Mike Thompson (Sonoma Water) about the potential benefits and challenges of capturing stormwater to augment drinking water supplies in the Bay Area. See the seminar agenda, here.
